HAYWARD -- On a recent Wednesday morning, Deepak Mehta, a 35- year-old Danville music promoter, gathered with four Fremont business partners on the second floor of his plush office to watch commercials promoting the upcoming Sangeet Awards on Sept. 24 at the Oakland Arena.
